Description

For a lot of Canadian racers — bracket racers, dirt trackers, oval guys — a fully custom SFI 3.2A/5 suit doesn’t need to cost what a Nomex suit costs. That’s exactly what this suit is built for.

The FR cotton two-layer suit gives you SFI 3.2A/5 certification, a completely custom design, and a price point that leaves room in the budget for the rest of your build. It’s the suit we recommend when your class rules call for 3.2A/5 and you want full custom without the Nomex price tag.

What Proban® FR Cotton Actually Is

Proban® is a flame-retardant treatment applied to cotton that gives it certified fire resistance. It’s been used in motorsport for decades and is accepted by NHRA, IHRA, and most regional Canadian sanctioning bodies at the 3.2A/5 level.

One honest note: unlike Nomex — where fire resistance is built into the fibre — Proban® treatment can diminish gradually over repeated washing. We recommend following care instructions closely and replacing the suit when it approaches the end of its service life. For most racers running a full season, it holds up well. If you race heavily year-round and want fire resistance that never washes out, step up to our lightweight Nomex two-layer suit.

Standard Features on Every Suit

  • SFI 3.2A/5 certified — Proban® FR cotton outer shell
  • Available in one-piece or two-piece configurations
  • Custom sizing — built to your exact measurements
  • 360° radial arm gussets — full arm reach without restriction
  • Lower back stretch panel — comfort when seated and belted in
  • Crotch stretch panels — full range of motion throughout the race
  • Unlimited embroidery — team name, driver name, sponsors, numbers
  • Choice of boot cut or cuffed leg design
  • Fire-resistant zippers on all closures
  • Built-in arm restraints available as an option
  • Full dye sublimation or embroidered finish — your choice

Who This Suit Is For

Dirt track drivers. Bracket racers. Oval regulars. Anyone whose class requires SFI 3.2A/5 and wants a fully custom look without the cost of Nomex construction. If you’re suiting up a crew or a junior driver and need certified protection across multiple suits without breaking the budget, this is where to start.

If you race in high heat or need maximum breathability lap after lap, our lightweight Nomex two-layer suit is worth the upgrade. But for most weekend racers across Canada, this suit does exactly what it needs to do.

Fully Custom — Your Colours, Your Logos

You send us your measurements and design direction. We build a mock-up and get your approval before we cut a single panel. Nothing goes into production until you say it looks right. Sublimated graphics, embroidered logos, or a mix of both — all at the same price.

One-piece and two-piece jacket and pants configurations available at the same SFI 3.2A/5 certification level.
