What SFI 3.2A/15 Actually Means

SFI ratings measure thermal protection performance (TPP). The 3.2A/15 rating means this suit has been tested and certified to provide substantially more fire protection than standard entry-level suits. It goes beyond the 3.2A/5 (two-layer) standard to deliver what serious drag racers at the sportsman and professional level need at sanctioned events.

If your class requires 3.2A/15, this is the suit. If you’re running something that allows 3.2A/5, you can check our two-layer suits as a lighter option — but many drivers choose the 3.2A/15 simply because the extra protection is worth it.

Fully Custom Design — Your Way

This is not a suit you pick off a rack and hope fits. You give us your measurements, your design direction, and your sponsor artwork. We give you a mock-up for approval before we start sewing. Nothing gets built until you say it looks right.

You can go full sublimation with vibrant graphics, or keep it clean with embroidered logos on a solid body — either way, the construction and certification are identical. Weight stays comparable to high-end plain suits, so you’re not giving up anything by going custom.

What Racers Ask Us Most

Does this suit meet IHRA and NHRA requirements? Yes. The SFI 3.2A/15 rating meets the requirements for fuel and alcohol classes across NHRA, IHRA, and most regional sanctioning bodies. Always confirm your specific class rules before ordering.

Do I need to pair this with SFI undergarments? For full compliance and maximum protection, yes. We carry SFI 3.3-rated Nomex underwear, gloves, socks, and shoes. Running the complete system gives you layered protection and ensures you meet head-to-toe safety requirements.

Can I order a two-piece configuration? Yes. Both one-piece and two-piece (jacket and pants) versions are available at the same certification level.
