Description

The SFI 3.2A/1 single layer suit is the entry point for certified fire protection in racing — and it’s the right choice for a lot of classes. If your track or sanctioning body requires an SFI-rated suit and you don’t need multi-layer protection, this is where you start.

What sets the EPIC version apart is that it’s fully custom. Same certification, same safety standards as any other SFI 3.2A/1 suit on the market — but built to your measurements, in your colours, with your logos. No off-the-shelf compromise.

What SFI 3.2A/1 Means

The SFI 3.2A/1 rating is a single-layer fire-resistant suit certification. It provides a baseline level of thermal protection — enough to give you critical seconds to exit the vehicle in a fire situation. It’s accepted by NHRA, IHRA, and most regional oval, dirt, and drag racing series for entry-level and sportsman classes where multi-layer suits are not required.

If your class requires 3.2A/5 or higher, step up to our two-layer Nomex or FR cotton suits. If 3.2A/1 is what your rules call for, this suit meets the spec — and looks far better than anything you’d pull off a shelf.

Standard Features on Every Suit

  • SFI 3.2A/1 certified — manufactured at or above SFI standards
  • Available in one-piece or two-piece configurations
  • Custom sizing — built to your measurements for a proper, comfortable fit
  • 360° radial arm gussets — reach the wheel without the suit pulling
  • Lower back stretch panel — comfort when seated and belted in
  • Crotch stretch panels — full range of motion without bunching
  • Unlimited embroidery — team name, driver name, sponsor logos, numbers
  • Built-in arm restraints available as an option
  • Choice of design features — leg cut, pockets, and more
  • Full dye sublimation or embroidered finish — your choice

Who This Suit Is For

This is the go-to suit for entry-level drag racers, bracket racers, oval track and dirt drivers whose class rules require SFI 3.2A/1 certification. It’s also popular with track day drivers, autocross competitors, and anyone who wants a certified, custom-looking suit without the cost of a multi-layer build.

If you’re new to the sport and not sure what rating your class requires, reach out before ordering — we’ll help you confirm the right spec.

Fully Custom Design

You pick the colours. You send us your sponsor logos and team name. We build a mock-up and get your sign-off before anything goes into production. Sublimated graphics, embroidered patches, or a combination of both — all included in the price.

One-piece or two-piece jacket and pants — both available at the same certification level.

Common Questions

Does this suit meet NHRA tech requirements for bracket racing? In most cases yes, but always confirm your specific class rules. Many bracket classes accept 3.2A/1; some require 3.2A/5 or higher depending on elapsed time and fuel type.

How long does production take? Typically four to six weeks from design approval.

Can I add arm restraints? Yes — built-in arm restraints are available as an option on all suits.
